Score Info

I think this is probably the hardest song for me to fairly rank in the series. Bedman is my favorite character in all of fiction, no exceptions. I can't shake that bias. I know the song probably doesn't deserve a 1.00 in emotion; but I simply can't give it anything else. It is too important to Bedman?'s story. It is too important to me.

Also some people think this song is bad. I don't think they have functional ears.
Melody
It is good. I enjoy the beginning part. It has a unique feeling to it, but isn't that prevalent.
Evolution
There are two main evolutions here: the loss of "The Circle" and the lengthened god segment. The circle part I talk about in lyrics. The lengthened god part is him realizing that any other depictions of the afterlife were false. It is simply a void. None of the traits of a traditional heaven are there.
Emotion
The emotion in this song greatly depends on your view on the story it tells, and Bedman?'s story as a whole. I find his story emotional. I don't think I can really explain why, it just resonates with my soul (as corny as that sounds).
Bangerness
CONSUMING TEN BILLION
YEARS IN A INSTANT
AND I'LL COME TO YOU WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT
I'M HERE, I'M HERE, I'M ON THE BORDER OF THE CIRCLE.
Characterization
The song fits well to someone who just died and went to the afterlife, only to come back as a robotic bed. What exactly does that mean? Read the lyrics section. But I think this is the perfect, ideal theme for Bedman?.
Lyrics
Depending on how you see Bedman's fate, these lyrics perfectly depict it. My interpretation is that, when he died in Xrd, he was sent to the afterlife, a void where every thing is the same (pitch black, pure white, all the same). He could then see "The Circle", the representation of the living world he was now outside of. He was there, on the border of this world. The parts were he tries to talk to a god represent the typical depictions of a heaven of some kind, which this place is not. Then, in the final verse, it says "I'm here, I'm here". This time he is NOT on the border of the circle. He is here, in the bedframe. He can now protect Delilah. He will "come to you without a second thought"
B.O.F. Bonus
This song can have multiple different meanings depending on how the listener views Bedman's fate, and I think that is cool :).
