Quite a good track. Oddly, it seems a lot of people don't like this song very much. And I can't really see why? It's a really good song with a lot of strengths. I don't think it is the best or anything, but it is at least in the upper half of strive's music.
Melody
Good! Not the absolute best, but memorable and good.
Evolution
The part near the end is REALLY, REALLY good. The rest of the song flows into it so well too. Also, I like the change from "words I want to turn into facts" to "words I need to turn into facts". It's small, but meaningful.
Emotion
The near-end section is one of the more emotional parts of any song honestly. Unfortunately it is just a bit too short for me to give it full points. I really do love it though!
Bangerness
It is, indeed, a banger. ESPECIALLY the near-ending.
Characterization
It does quite well. The lyrics show his personality and experiences. The japanese instruments are quite good, as they represent his culture and heritage (something quite important to him).
Lyrics
The lyrics, to me, seem to be Anji remembering the times in the colony, and just generally talking about his thoughts towards life. And I think they do a good job at that.
