Score Info

Requiem. This used to be my favorite song in the series, and held that title for a long time. It just kind of... lost something. I don't know what it is. It just doesn't feel as special any more. I wish I could explain it.
Melody
Average for a Strive song. Also has the record (I think) for longest non-lyrical section of a lyrical song.
Evolution
Evolves perfectly on the lyrics and general feeling at the end.
Emotion
I used to consider this as the most emotional part of any Guilty Gear song. I don't anymore, but I think it still clearly deserves a 1.00. Listen to that ending. She is "fading away in the warm glow" and "swallowed by fate". And then, only the sound of the wind is left. The song is over. I-No is dead. There isn't any more story to tell.
Bangerness
Overall a banger but unfortunately the guitar solo part is just a tiny bit to long which kind of messes with it for me
Characterization
A requiem is decribed as "a musical service or composition in honor of the dead." And that is exactly what this is. It represents everything I-No felt and stood for. And now she is gone.
Lyrics
A bit repetitive but fit I-No perfectly. They reveal a lot about her mentality.
