Extras was a song that I liked from the start and honestly my opinion has never really changed. It isn't like the best song in Strive or anything but it is certainly near the top.
Melody
Very good for a Strive song.
Evolution
The ending is a good evolution on what was set up earlier. I know this means essentially nothing but i don't have much to say honestly. Also changing from the death metal vocals to the normal ones is cool, it it gets even better when both go at the same time near the end.
Emotion
It's mainly the end, but the chorus has a bit too.
Bangerness
That main chorus is very "banger" but the rest is somewhat average
Characterization
Extras is a very good representation of both Elphelt's new views in life and her new metal aesthetic
Lyrics
Listen, I don't care how stupid "rub a dub dub" is as the main repeated lyric. They are GOOD. Especially having the two different types of lyrics in there.
