Intro
Patch v2.00 is now out! Bedman? has been changed... for better or for worse. Probably for better. Maybe. But how will ArcSys treat Bedman? in the future? Assuming they don't just go insane and start nerfing him like crazy or something.
Where Do We Go?
From here, I can see them taking multiple different paths to improve Bedman?'s gameplan. I also have a list of Quality of Life changes, though these aren't particularly guaranteed. They would just fit well with any path.

Decreased forward hurtbox.

Increased lower hitbox close to Bedman?.

Added 10f rolling tumble on close hit.

Increased pushback on block for close hit.

 BEDMAN?
This is the most likely path: continue with the current plan with no changes. No rethinking and no reversions.

To make up for the loss of 214K as a cancel option, some of its more important uses are becoming less important. This includes 2H, 6H, and 2D.

call 0x$1.00's enhanced errors were a bit too restrictive to access. The buff is now applied regardless of if Bedman? has an active error, letting them tackle their new 3-Step gameplan in any order.

call 4B3 can now be canceled even earlier. This results in the move having no active frames, making it easier to apply in combos or during okizeme such as after 2D.

Increased final hit's attack level from 3 to 4.

Recovery decreased from 30f to 27f.

Increased pushback of final hit.
6HBUFF
Recovery decreased from 30f to 23f.
  • On-Block changed from -17 to -10.
  • On-Hit changed from HKD +53 to HKD +60.
2DBUFF
Recovery decreased from 21f to 19f
  • On-Block changed from -10 to -8.
  • On-Hit changed from HKD +47 to HKD +49.
call 4B3 [236S]BUFF
Can now be canceled earlier, decreasing the active time to 0f. This decreases the total duration by 18f.
call 0x1.00 [214K]BUFF
Buff is now applied regardless of if Bedman? has an active error.

Error Focus
 BEDMAN?
If ArcSys specifically wants to make Error 6E a vital part of Bedman?'s gameplay (even more so), this could be a potential path.

Error 6E now persists when Bedman? blocks. The timer resets on every hit, meaning it can not be used defensively but instead to maintain momentum when successfully escaping pressure.

call 0x$1.00 can now be used twice, enhancing the error further. This gives access to call 13C errors without spending meter. In addition, the buff now applies regardless of if Bedman? has an error currently active, making it easier to access.

call 13C has been changed to make it more consistently useful. It now has an increased duration, making it take up almost all of the tension penalty duration.

Recovery decreased from 35f to 30f.

Buff is now applied regardless of if Bedman? has an active error.

Using the move again while the buff is already applied gives access to a call 13C error.

Duration increased from 300f to 420f.
Reversion
 BEDMAN?
This path is specifically for if ArcSys decides to revert a bunch of changes from the 2.0 patch. Not fulll reversions, but slight ones to bring back some things.

j.S's hitbox has been slightly extended, but only during combos. This improves the consistency of combos, but not neutral.

j.D can now be canceled into 8-Way Airdash on hit. This improves conversions on hit, but only when not crossing up. It also has a very slightly higher launch, making linking afterwards easier.

call 0x$0.20 and call 0x$1.00 have had their recovery slightly reverted. In addition, call 0x$1.00 is now Hold-Ok. The enhancement to errors only occurs if held.

Increased forward hitbox using follow-up hitboxes.

Can now be canceled into 8-Way Airdash.

Slightly improved launch on hit.
  • On-Hit changed from KD +36 to KD +37.
call 0x$0.20 [214P]BUFF
Recovery decreased from 40f to 35f when used in the air.

The timing before Bedman? starts falling when used in the air is now significantly earlier.
call 0x$1.00 [214K]BUFF
Can now be held.

Recovery decreased from 35f to 25f when not held.

Error enhance only applies if held.
