It has been
since Bedman? was added to Guilty Gear -Strive-. What has changed?

The error 6E state now persists after an Area Shift, making it easier for Bedman? to stay on the offensive.

It's more difficult for the opponent to interrupt a string using anything other than an invincible reversal after Bedman? cancels the last hit of Crouching HS into a special move.
Crouching P can now combo into call 4B3, making it easier to enter error 6E state from a jab.

Improvements to aerial neutral make it easier to get in close to the opponent.

The additional forward movement speed of forward jump makes it possible to jump in on the opponent from farther distances.
Jumping S now has a vacuum effect, meaning Bedman? can get into close range from a single aerial hit.
There are now more opportunities to start combos after mix-up as Jumping D launches the opponent on grounded hit.

     BEDMAN?
    As certain strings were extremely good at keeping the opponent locked down as well as difficult to escape from, we've made adjustments to its lock-down potential.
    In exchange, Bedman? has new options available in neutral.

    The Guard Crush duration after charged and fully charged call 4B9 has been decreased.
    The same applies to the attack triggered by error 6E.
    This makes it more challenging to continually force the opponent to block the charged version in strings.
    However, the projectile generated by error 6E now homes in on the opponent's horizontal position to an extend.
    This can function as a poke when returning to neutral after the opponent blocks call 4B9 mid-screen.

    call 13C has less recovery, making it more viable as it can be used more in string and combos.

    Crouching HS now leads into better match developments. error 6E has improved usability, to remedy its previous;y limited potential in certain situations.

    The properties of call 4BA during the projectile startup have been adjusted.
    It is now easier to safely return to neutral when the start of call 4BA is blocked after Crouching HS.

    The error 6E projectile from call 4B9 (Malfunction) will no longer extend off the screen.
    This makes setplay involving error 6E in the corner more potent.
